Well! To crack IIT jee mains/advance ,ncert books are not sufficient. The chapters in these books are same as per jee syllabus but some topics are not included in the ncert chapters to solve jee mains /advance questions.

Recently I have research on it and from this research I concluded that with proper guidance and by follow certain strategy you can get good marks  and good ranks.one thing is important if you are dreaming to get best nits and best iits college you have to score 270+ And to achieve this score you have to only focus on study.

How to prepare for exams-

 First set a goal that to score upto 270 .Now to achieve this score you have to do self study first at least 6 hours daily.don't leave any day.(usually students do study 1 -2 days and then next 2 days they leave it.).so be serious and do regular study without any holiday.I prescribe must join any best institute where best faculty are available. They motivates you and helps you ,so that you can easily understand.

Physics-

 Now to understand the topics easily in physics first go through (modern Abc and s.l arora)these books are good to clear your theory.then go through hc verma and b.c pandey (numerical+theory) to solve numerical .



Chemistry-

 For chemistry, ncert book and pradeep are sufficient to give you proper knowledge about all the topics.if you learn these books throughly you can easily solve all questions in jee mains , for organic (op tandon ) is also good.


Mathematics- 
For maths ,you always starts( rd sharma ),rd sharma is good for basics yet is not sufficient for iits exams but you can score 90+ in 12th.for iits jee for trigonometry and calculus read (amit m agrawal book),for algebra solve(SK goyal books) , for higher algebra(hall& knight) and for graph(amit M agrwal).graph helps you a lot to solve question quickly. these books are best to solve all questions of jee mains /advance.

Some tips you must read and keep it in your mind -

 1.)Never wait for results after 10th board,as       11th syllabus is so broad.if you are serious   about jee then join good institute.

2.)Study at least 6 hours daily without any            holiday

3.)Divide your time on basics of subject.
 Just read the topics before classes.it helps       you to understand easy.

4.)Just do revision on same day of study so      that any points you can't understand ask           next day.

5.)We know practice makes the man perfect    so practice more and more in maths and      physics.

6.)Try to manage time ,in less you have to        solve 90 questions.

7.) Solve the study material regularly so that     your concept on that much topic will be clear.

8.)some chapters in chemistry are based on    numerical like thermodynamics ,all           numerical in physics and chemistry try             more and more.

9.) For maths follow the above book and            study material you can solve all questions  in exam
